The Developer Behind QuackDB
A solo developer building a database tool that focuses on what matters - fast, flexible, and simple to use.

Creator & Solo Developer
I got tired of database tools that felt stuck in the past. Cluttered interfaces, endless menus, and that special kind of lag that makes you question your career choices. So I started building something better.
This is a solo project with big ambitions. The core application is free forever. No trials, no expiration, no limits on local use. For power users who want advanced features like data visualizations, query history, and priority support, the Pro plan helps support continued development.
The Story Behind QuackDB
After 8 years working with data, I watched the same frustrations everywhere. Analysts stuck with spreadsheets that had grown into monsters. Developers waiting on IT just to look at their own data. Tools that were either ancient, overpriced, or so complex you needed a PhD to use it.
I wanted something different. A tool designed for flow, not friction. Something where you never have to question what a button does or wait for a loading spinner. QuackDB was built with beginners in mind but powerful enough for pros - prioritizing clarity, speed, and ease of use above all else.
I'm not pretending this will replace enterprise solutions or compete with teams of 50 engineers. This is one developer building something useful. The free plan covers what most people need. Pro unlocks extra features for those who want them. Simple as that.
Currently at v1.0.1. There is a roadmap, but think of it more as a vision of where I want to take this. Features ship based on what users actually need. If something breaks or you have ideas, reach out.
